TransKids PDX was created by the Portland, Oregon based TransActive Education and Advocacy. Membership in this group is restricted to parents, family and approved care providers and is dedicated to discussion, support and advocacy of children, youth and families in the Pacific Northwest who are working through issues related to transgender and gender independent identity expression. It is also intended as a social interaction opportunity for parents, family and caregivers of these children.

This support will include referrals to resources of all kinds, including outreach to schools, healthcare service providers, community organizations and allied transgender-related agencies on both a local and national level.

Please keep all conversation PG-rated and respectful of all people, and centered on supporting, educating and/or advocating for transgender and gender independent children, youth and their families.
