Antijen is run by Aunty - who hosts many lists relating to transitioning for both families and the person in transition. It's a great resource with very nice, understanding people behind it.
Recently, when we updated our site, we added in the possibility to send a referral to the site using a form which sent the email for you. Unfortunately, Spammers in their infinite wisdom decided that was a great opportunity for them to send links to their site using our mail services. We have taken the link away, removing the possibility of being used as a SPAM host.
To anyone who received the SPAM, we sincerely apologize and would like to assure you that your email address was not kept by us, nor was it our intention to allow SPAM to be sent to you. Those who sent the SPAM had their own mailing list which they used to send with, and from our logs, we have determined that this started within the last 6 hours.
Over the last few weeks, we have been upgrading and updating the site to bring the latest content management version to life. While it has been a major undertaking, it has gone fairly smoothly and frankly, we're proud of the new look and feel of the site.
In the coming weeks, we plan to add a forum, more articles as well as other features, and we would like your input! How can we make the Genderology Directory more useful to you? Would you like to contribute any works, writings, videos or other content? We are always looking for more input, so if you have a need let us try to fulfill it!

I look at the few hits that the directory gets, and wonder if the effort put in is worth the time spent keeping it up to date, adding new information, and attempting to find new resources. I have done pretty much everything I can to get new resources into the directory, however I do not know how much the directory is helping. Are you finding the resources you are looking for? Do you read through this? Would you be willing to work with the forums to help get them moving?
I look at all of this, and then at some of the sites that are in the directory, at which point I have to wonder if the effort I put forth is worth the value of the site. I think I have created a concise way of finding resources, however few people have taken the time to add their resources, so the directory has not grown the way I initially thought it would.
Please let me know if you believe I am wrong in this matter. I truly want to make something useful to all, however if it is not useful, then it is something that wastes time from family and friends for no reason.
The last time we checked the forums, they were happily empty. The forums were checked tonight and a ton of messages were found. At first there was great joy in seeing that there was activity, and then we thought better of that good assumption. Yes, it was spam. There was only one nice thing in the forum that was left, and the rest went into the electronic circular bin. After all, nobody is coming here for the advertisements, and we're certainly not going to condone advertising on this site which is not appropriate!
If you posted a topic to the forums, and are now noticing it has gone away, you were probably hit by the mass pruning of messages. Please feel free to re-post your topic if this is the case.
Be forewarned though that all topics are now moderated, so in theory, that should be the end of forum spam.

Things have been looking up for the Genderology Directory Project!
We have been working on getting the word out about the Genderology Directory, however, as expected, most users do not wish to share their provider's information because of fear of privacy issues. To me, this is quite understandable, as well as expected.
Currently in our database, we have 157 listings from around the world, as well as 41 categories of provider types.

and the way to gain psychological help as well as other forms of
assistance including but not limited to physicians and clinicians who
specialize, or assist those people who have needs in this specific area.
In short, we are a directory which puts the transgender community into connection with the service providers who will fit their needs best, as well as giving the service providers an easy way to let the community know who may best serve their needs.
